COMMENTS: A very nice umbalite type rhodolite garnet that has a medium reddish pink color and shows lots of long diamond like spectral color flashes (dispersion) under direct lighting. This is an interesting garnet as it has larger needles (rutile?) than a typical rhodolite, It is generally a clean looking stone in person and the RI is about 1.744.
