COMMENTS: This Tazanian sapphire has an 80 to 90% alexandrite type color change from a medium greenish blue to medium amethyst purple color, depending on the light. As is usually the case with these it can also show some odd grayish tones in some lighting conditions and is usually at its best in either natural daylight (blue-green) or incandescent light (purple).
